Colorful Western Montana Regatta

One of the most colorful annual events in western Montana is the Copper Cup Regatta at Polson on beautiful Flathead Lake, one of the largest fresh-water bodies of water in the nation. The event features both inboard racing and other water events, drawing boating enthusiasts from distant points. These flag-carrying boats participated in the 1948 program when the event was called the Cherry Regatta.
