MISSOULIAN – ABOUT THE EDITOR

The Missoulian-Sentinel’s 194 page Centennial Edition herewith presented to our readers is an outstanding example of the achievements of cooperation between all departments of The Missoulian Publishing Co., but much credit for the success of the venture must go to the hard-working Centennial editor, E. J. Erlandson.

His painstaking devotion to detail, exhaustive research and efficient organization of material has resulted, we believe, in a most worthwhile presentation of Missoula-Hell Gate history, and one, we are certain, our readers will find interesting and entertaining.

Ably assisting Erlandson in preparing the material was Miss Judy McVey of Butte, senior in journalism at Montana State University. After completing her Centennial edition chores, Miss McVey hurried to Madison, Wis., where she now is gaining valuable experience on the staff of the Wisconsin State Journal.

[The University of Montana was called Montana State University at this time.]
