“The Margaret” – Beautiful Bonner hotel 1892
“The Margaret,”
Bonner’s Beautiful Little Hotel Ready for Business
The Margaret, the new hotel at Bonner, opened quite unostentatiously, is now ready for and already doing a large business. It is a magnificent little hostelry, a perfect specimen of a modern hotel, fitted up with all known conveniences, and supplied with every luxury. The hotel has thirty-five living rooms for guests, billiard rooms and bar, parlors and an immense dining room suitable for dancing. The fittings of the hotel are rich and luxurious and yet in perfect taste, and the rooms are so arranged that they can be occupied singly or en suite. The hotel throughout is supplied with electric lights, steam heat, electric bells and hot and cold water. The table is an exceptionally good one, to supply which all markets are drawn upon and the cooks are artists in their profession. In short, a sojourn at the Margaret makes life worth living. The whole establishment is under the personal supervision of W. H. Hammond.
