Officers of 7th Infantry Who Fought in Battle of Big Hole

These officers of the 7th Infantry saw action in the Battle of the Big Hole in August of 1877 against the Nez Perce Indians. Three officers were killed in action or died of wounds received and four officers were wounded. (Courtesy of Grant Maclay)
