Baseball State and Regional Champs of 1942

The following photo appeared in Section E, page 32 of the Missoulian Centennial issue. Below is the caption for that photo.

This American Legion Junior baseball squad of 1942 won the state and regional championships for Missoula, then went to the sectional tournament where Los Angeles won that title 6-5 in the championship game after Missoula had beaten Tucson, Ariz., 6-5.
