Three Have Won State Awards In Speech Meets

Women interested in self-improvement, poise, practicing speech and conducting meetings met for the first time in Missoula May 7, 1946.

These 16 women elected Mrs. Ken Cooper as their first president and the club became a member of International Toastmistress Club Jan. 7, 1947. The club now has three members who have won state speech awards; Mona Thompson, Marion Gebhart and Evelyn King.

 

Club president for fall term 1960 is Mary Ellis.
