Student Union Constructed on U Campus
This building constructed in the mid-1930s on the Montana State University campus was the pride of the school, one of the finest Student Union buildings of its time. The book store and cafeteria were on the ground floor. The building also contained a well-equipped lounge, student offices, three ballrooms and the large auditorium.
Journalism Building Completed in 1937
This building, when completed in 1937 on the MSU campus, was a far cry from the tents the Journalism School started in and the “Shack” students were using for classes just before moving into new quarters.
