Will Play Hockey At [Island] Rink – 1911

WILL PLAY HOCKEY AT RINK

Practice Game This Afternoon Promises To Be A Speedy Exhibition

At 4 o’clock this afternoon the last practice game between the two picked teams of the Missoula Hockey club will be played at the island rink. Competition for places on the first team is great and the games tomorrow promise much, as it will probably decide who will go with the team to the Rossland carnival. A collection will be taken on the bridge to assist in defraying the expenses of the team.

The teams will line up as follows:

Argonauts – Simpkins, goal; Miller, point; Matthews, cover point; Dorman, center; Roy Clark, rover and captain; Stafford, right wing; Lucy, left wing.

Crescents – Bliss, goal; Thane, point; H. Clarke, cover, point and captain; Reardon, center; Cummings, rover; Bailey, left wing; English, right wing.
