I seem to remember him knocking softballs to the top of the roof at Willard School when I was a kid. That would be along with Miles Miller, the Lovejoys, and a couple of others. Ask Tom Stage about long afternoons of endless 500 games @ Willard School. Also as the tow-headed brother of his beautiful sister when they visited across the street from the Whitehouse Grocery on South 3rd. street. He was the type of guy you would just stand back and watch. Rest in peace Pokey.
