500 Dolls Are Shown During Week at Parks

More than 500 dolls were on display in the various parks when the Missoula recreation department sponsored a community doll show in Bonner, Franklin, Kiwanis, North Side and West Side parks Friday evening. This activity was proven to be most popular by the public interest and participation.

Many interesting dolls were entered for display. Many parents and friends came to see the attractive and varied groups which the children brought for the show.

The 180-year-old doll, entered at North side park by Sandra Pritchard, 405 Fourth street, won the blue ribbon for the oldest doll on that playground. At Bonner park, the ribbon for the oldest doll was awarded to Lois Connell, who entered a doll which was 85 years old. This doll had been given to her mother, Mrs. G. D.
